Building on the concept of a fully luminous ceramic case, which was initially introduced in 2024, this new watch combines cutting-edge material science with the brand's iconic aviation aesthetics and sophisticated perpetual calendar complication. The Ceralume material, a proprietary ceramic compound enriched with Super-LumiNova pigments, is the star of this new release. During daylight hours, the 46.5mm case, with a height of 15.9mm, presents a pristine white appearance, reminiscent of the Lake Tahoe edition, with subtle variations in matte and polished finishes. However, its true marvel unfolds in low-light conditions, where the entire case transforms into a vivid blue glow, creating a striking contrast and an entirely new aesthetic dimension. The perpetual calendar module, a brainchild of Kurt Klaus, accurately accounts for variable month lengths and leap years, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100. Furthermore, the Double Moon display exhibits exceptional precision, with a deviation of only one day over more than five centuries. A sapphire caseback provides a view of the movement's traditional finishes, along with a luminous rotor medallion, seamlessly integrating the watch's glow-in-the-dark theme.
